NOMINON - Promo August '96

Wandering about in London I asked a bloke with a Voi Vod shirt if he knew some metal shop around, and we got talking a little bit. Then he gave me the advice to have a listen at this very two song promo ($5), being granted it is not typical late 1990's tralala metal.

Later I realized some of the names in the line-up were familiar from a band called Dion Fortune who released a few demos about three years ago.

Kindly ignoring the two somewhat embarrassing inroductions following the concept of evil speech respective howling sheep - sorry, wolves - Nominon certainly are into that "old genuin Death Metal" they refer to in their autobiography, and do it trustworthly. I am into this, certainly. The very first riff in "Consuming Divineness" promises we have travelled several years back in time.

That Voi Vod shirt was a pirate one, nevertheless.
